MOSTLY CORAL, WITH 3 SMALL MOLDED FISH ( shows one large fish here)
No eyes required for this project

Using Molding Paste & Gel, Decorate your prepared board with
up-cycled/recycled/ re-used bits and pieces.

DRAGON HEAD

Using Modelling Paste & Gel, decorate a polystyrene dragon head (on your prepared board) with up-cycled/recycled/ re-used bits and pieces.
Use the eye you prepared on Friday.

I WILL SEND PICS OF BITS AND PIECES NEEDED AFTER YOU SELECT OPTION A,B OR C.

             DECORATED FISH

Similar to dragon, with some Coral decoration included below fish.
Use the eye & board you prepared on Friday.

  •  Tube type beads which look like corals.

  • Small pieces of artificial ferns/plants ( I have a few)

  • Whatever you want to use for decoration on your fish/dragon, eg spike beads for teeth, metal findings, beads & twigs for spine /fins.

CRAZY BIRD GLASS MOSAICS

WITH JANICE LAURENT

SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS, using miniature Mosaic pieces

IT IS NOT LIKE EVERYDAY MOSAICS !!

This technique is “non grout” and your creation is on glass, not on the usual backing for everyday mosaic art.

Miniature mosaics is much harder than large mosaics.

You will have a choice of one (1)  of the 3 bird pattern kits. 

You can choose a bird or take “pot luck” on the day.
 Your selection needs to be made at least 6 weeks prior if your after a particular colour palette.

Please note:  

On the day you will not be cutting glass, ( due to health and safety regulations) all pieces will be pre cut.

However there will be an in-depth demonstration and you will learn the techniques of each step.

Although the mosaic pieces are pre cut for this workshop and you follow a pattern you will still have a chance to be creative with your individual creation as extra pieces will be supplied for this purpose.

Size approximately 16cm x 9cm.

I cannot guarantee kits to be same as in the photos as I use mostly recycled glass so depends on what I have at the time.

SHRINK PLASTIC JEWELLERY

Shrink plastic is an amazing medium for beginners and experienced crafters alike, offering endless creative possibilities!

Come along and learn about the amazing shrink plastic medium that offers endless creative possibilities.  In this workshop you will learn about how to colour, accent, and shrink the plastic to reduce it to make beautiful earrings or pendant/broach.  You can choose to apply UV resin to add extra shine and sparkle. 

You will learn all the tips and tricks of the trade including some of the teachers special little tips.  You will go home after a few hours of fun with a high quality looking piece of jewellery.
