FUNKY FISH, POLYMER CLAY

WITH DEBBIE CROTHERS

There's so much to love about these gorgeous, funky fish.

The creative elements you inject into your fish can reflect your own personality.

Learn how to create a range of fish shapes with unique surface texture.  The colouring and additional surface treatments bring these fish to life. You will also learn how to apply additional product to create shimmering effects.

Together with this, I'll also be sharing information on creating liquid clay glazes using Fimo Oven Hardening Liquid Gel.  I'll show you how to create the glaze, apply to your 3 dimensional pieces and cure with a heat gun.

You'll end up making fish with a powdering colouring together with liquid clay glazed fish (or what I like to call "faux ceramic").

You can turn your fish into necklaces, a brooch or even itty bitty fish earrings - the choice is yours.  There's a lot to learn here.

BELLE OF THE BALL

A PAVERPOL FABRIC HARDENER PROJECT

with BRONWYN STUART

This work highlights the transformative nature of fabric hardeners. By manipulating textiles into rigid, high-relief structures, this creates a "frozen" choreography.

Belle has been created primarily with Paverpol and fabric on a wooden frame, with the body sculpted from Apoxie sculpt.

Guided by a print you can create your own lovely lady wall hanging using the print as a backing or select your backing from patterned papers available.

There will be fabrics available but if you have your own special fabric and embellishments, please bring them along.

Pic above is the original canvas.
You may select this as the background or use patterned papers as in the first pic.
